Live map

The Live Map gives you a near real-time view of your fleet, helping you quickly see where vehicles are located and monitor activity from a single map-based workspace. Use this page to understand how to access and interpret the Live Map so you can track vehicles more confidently and respond to changing conditions as they happen.

The Live map is accessible from the sidebar within Mosaiq Insights (1).

Filter and configure the map

Image 2.png

The default view shows every service with every vehicle. The dropdown options allow you to filter by service and/or specific vehicle.

  • Use the Search function (1) to find a specific service or vehicle.

  • By default, All services and All vehicles are selected (2).

  • Within the Services filter, you can identify vehicles that aren’t tripped on (3). This can be useful for locating vehicles that are pulling in or out of depots, on layovers, or dead-running between trips.

The service filter affects the vehicle filter: it only showing the vehicles on the selected service.

Clearing filters takes you back to the default view.

Viewing vehicles on the map

Image 3.png

At different zoom levels, vehicles may be grouped together as numbers (1). The number shows how many vehicles are close to each other. Click the number and the map automatically zooms in so you can view the individual vehicles.

Image 8.png
  • Tripped-on vehicle show as a dark blue (2)

  • Vehicles that aren’t tripped-on show as desaturated blue (3)

  • Vehicles using Mosaiq Go will be purple (4)

Each individual tripped-on vehicle is surrounded by a coloured ring showing whether it is Early, On-time, or Late (EOL)* against to the schedule (5). The ring colours update in real time.

*Please refer to the FAQs for more information on how EOL is defined.

Selecting a vehicle

The selected vehicle's route shape is displayed on the map (6).

The tooltip for a vehicle that isn't tripped on doesn't show the service number or route name.
